"Hello" and welcome to our website
Poole Ukulele Pluckers & Strummers (PUPS) is for ukulele enthusiasts to meet, play, sing, chat and generally have a good time. Whatever your playing ability you are welcome to join us — from professional musician to complete beginner. With lots of us playing together, the occasional duff chord is in good company!
Our regular twice monthly sessions are at the New Inn - in the garden if weather permits. You will find times and location details below. Check our Facebook page "Poole Ukulele Pluckers and Strummers" for news updates and any late changes to events. The latest Songbooks can be downloaded from the Songbooks tab above.

PUPS has a long tradition of supporting local and national charities by passing on any donations we receive.
We regularly entertain at Care Homes and public events.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The starting time of our session on Wednesday 17th June 2026 will be 2:30pm. The normal time of 7pm would have clashed with the Football World Cup viewing at the New Inn.

Please aim to arrive about 30 minutes before the playing start time. If dress is not specified, we go for striped tops.

Due to the Football World Cup our session on 17th June will start at 2:30pm.

Setting up from 2:00 - start at 2:30 and end at about 4:30
and the 3rd Wednesday of the month
Setting up from 6:30 - start at 7:00 and end at about 9:00

Free on site and road parking is available.
